My remote control finally came in for my Canon EOS 300D. Looks like I’ll be experimenting with night photography real soon. It’s only been 14 years. :-) I’d love to do it this weekend, but unfortunately, I have a really busy schedule ahead of me. I’m not sure I’ll be able to swing it. Then again, I might get a wild hair and just go out late at night and just get it out of my system.

I’ve already played around with the remote control. It seems pretty simple. I still can’t believe I spent this much on a plastic piece of equipment such as this. There isn’t much weight to this controller and I doubt there is hardly any circuitry on the inside. I wish it was made of metal and weighed more. Ya know, something more solid than this. At least it would seem like it was worth $25. Well what am I to do. There isn’t any place for a cable to hook up to this camera and frankly, the idea of a remote seems pretty cool.

Stay tuned for some night shots of Tucson. I can’t wait for monsoon season to come now (August) so I can practice on some lightning storms.
