Full Moon

Filed under: News — Ken @ 9:46 am

Since I’ve had several questions and responses on my blue moon gallery photo, I thought I’d let everyone know that the next full moon will be out tomorrow night, January 25th. Especially for those interested in trying their hand at “shooting the moon”. My best advice is to start shooting at a shutter speed of 125 and an f-stop of f/16. A tripod is mandatory and if you don’t have a cable release or remote control to hold the shutter open, try using your camera’s timer function. Exposure time will vary, depending on the focal length you are shooting at.

Good luck!
