We have a new addition to our yard these days. Some really cute baby quail. This photo is more of a snapshot than a photo I’d want to post in the gallery. In any case, I think it’s at least worth sharing.

For those that aren’t familiar with what an adult quail looks like, you can see a photo in my gallery here. I think quails are probably one of my favorite birds in Arizona.

I’ve upgraded the gallery this evening. If anyone happens to discover any issues, please let me know immediately.

This upgrade was necessary for what’s in store for Dobson Central. By popular demand, sometime this week, if all goes well, you will be able to purchase prints directly from the gallery. More information on this to follow. . .

On Sunday, April 24th, is an annual event called Worldwide Pinhole Photography day. It’s an event to celebrate the art of Pinhole Photography. Pinhole cameras have been around for a very long time and are actually very cool cameras. For those that aren’t familiar with this, a pinhole camera is just that. A camera with a very small pinhole where you control the light for each of your exposures. They are simple to build and can be quite fun, not to mention, a great way to really enhance your exposure knowledge. There is an entire web site dedicated to this special event over at www.pinholeday.org where you can submit your pinhole photos, pictures of your own homemade pinhole cameras and a lot more.

What are you doing still reading this? Go check it out. :-)
