Dobson Central Photography

Since partnering up to use some of my photos for their album covers back in March of last year, I was starting to think Itis Records fell off the face of the planet. . .

I was wrong however. It seems they were just busy giving their web site a new face lift. Even their news is showing signs of life this year.

If you haven’t been over there before, you should check them out. They only have a few bands so far, but all the music is free to download (mp3 format). I’m particular fond of Phat Justin’s Menschenrechte album, but his “Destiny is Calling me” album is quickly growing on me. Then again, maybe it’s my photo they used for the album cover (which, btw, you can click on it on their site and print it out to use for your own CD cover. How cool is that?)

I’ve been longing to visit New York City for quite some time now, purely for the photography aspect, if nothing else. Well my wife gets to go there next week!! As for me, the photographer in the family? Well I get to stay home and watch the genetic experiment (my son).

But that’s the not the bad part yet. She gets to go TWICE this year!! How sick is that?

Since there have been some people totally abusing the voting in the gallery, I’ve decided to turn this feature off.

I have, on the other hand, decided to use voting as another feature. I’ve decided to rate the ones that are my personal favorites. A rating of 5 is of course, a big favorite of mine and also makes a very nice print. A rating of 4 is my second favorite or in some cases, a note to myself that I can improve the shot when I get another chance. There are others that I could have voted a 4 or below, but I only wanted to pick what I thought were the best of my work thus far. As time goes on, as with anyone into photography knows, their work usually gets better. The gallery and my favorites will be updated as this happens over time.

I’m sure some of you have your own favorites that might not be the same as mine, however, you can add whatever ones you like to your favorites (click My Favorites). They will stay with you (providing your cookies aren’t erased on your computer) whenever you visit.
