Excellent shots of this amazing, beautiful bird.

By the way, I came upon your blog by chance — but the title of this post caught my eye immediately. Over the past week, I, too, have posted photos of the Ferruginous Hawk on my blog, and I also took the photos at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum. Small world!

I’ll have to check out your blog. The Desert Museum is definitely a great place to get some shots of raptors for sure. I just wish I could make it out there more often than I do. I had a membership out there for two years running, but it seems I only make it out there once or twice a year.

I think out of the recent shots I took, the Harris Hawk photos are my favorite this go around.
