The two brightly colored walls make for an interesting contrast when both captured in a single frame. This was shot downtown near the Tucson Museum of Art. In fact, this was the second time I went to take a shot of this. The first shoot, I ended up getting there too late and the sun was casting some nasty shadows on the walls and I captured extra, non-wall items in the photo which distracted away from the main subject.
This photo was part of a "macro lens" photo project I assigned to myself for the month of December (31 photos in all). I wanted to do something to spur some creativity, and get me to try something completely different that would get me out of my comfort zone. My mom also decided to partake in this assignment on her web site.
