I took this photo back in August of 2008 on my way back to Tucson in one of our helicopters. The photo itself was ok and didn't do much for me. Technically the photo is good, with a unique view of Tucson that you typically don't see much of. Mostly, however, it's because Tucson doesn't have a striking skyline.
Fast forward a little more than a year and I find myself contemplating the purchase of a Tilt Shift lens. I primarily want it for crisp, tack sharp photos, however I've also been a little intrigued with some T/S images where everything looks like a model. So, I decided to do it the Photoshop way for now, until I have $2,200 clams.
This is still so neat looking.

Tilt shift really is the new look that everyone is admiring, especially after Allstate came out with the tilt shift commercial.
Wonderful photo, perhaps you should just make your own tilt shift lens instead of spending the cash, the internet can teach you how.
