Besides going in and out of their burrows, the prairie dogs seemed to eat a lot and watch out for danger. Well, the belly kinda gives away their eating habits. As for the danger, I'm not sure what dangers there are for them in a cage at the Desert Museum, aside from maybe a hawk to come down and swoop them away. (Note: the cage is open on top).
