This was shot at Catalina State Park near Oro Valley, Az. There are all types of trails to walk through in this park and this just happened to catch my eye as we were ending our first trail. I figured there wasn't any digital photography left to be taken by the end of this trail and I happened to look off to my right and there stood this odd cactus.
This small version of this picture doesn't do this photo justice. I have it hanging on my wall in my office as a 20x30 and it looks great. Some people have commented on this cactus as someone giving a "peace sign", or it looks like someone dived straight into the ground. Saguaro cacti grow in all sorts of weird shapes. It's fun to come up with names of these different poses.
