I think this is one my best shots of the Arizona state bird to date. Partially because of my Canon 100-400 IS lens, but primarily because I was able to get within only a couple of feet of this cactus wren. The colors came out perfect. My only regret is that it's an over shoulder shot of the bird. I waited for him to turn around, but he kept looking at what was in front of him, rather than be concerned with me.
