I'm not exactly sure where I took this at, but I do like the composition a lot. I'm guessing I didn't have my tripod with me, otherwise the focus would have been spot on. Regardless, the orange colors on the rich green background really works for me. Special thanks to Rhonda Spencer for identifying this for me, since I'm horrible at identifying flowers. Thanks Rhonda!

Thanks. This is another one of my favorite shots. And to think, I never published this before redesigning my site recently. Upon redesigning, I was forced to go back through quite a few photos to reprocess them for a larger view on the new design. That's when I stumbled across this one. Ah, the glories of digital photography. You get inundated with hoards of photos and sometimes they get buried deep in your archives.
