This was a spur of the moment shot. I was intrigued by this gentleman on our boat ride over to Sea World from our hotel. The vibrant colors of the oars, jacket, hat and the large swipe of sun screen across his face set against a black and white scene was what caught my attention. When processing this, I thought a combination of color and black and white might work for this shot, since most of the shot had lots of grays in it. Ultimately, I found the original shot worked best.
