My son was the driving force behind going to Mount Rushmore on our vacation. I would have preferred to drive through the badlands and perhaps get some landscape shots or just continue on towards Wisconsin. I could have dealt without all the parking hassles and driving around in a parking lot for 30 minutes looking for a parking spot, but ultimately, we all had a good time. It was interesting to see this massive granite carving in the side of a mountain.
This is the final photo of the black and white series of Mount Rushmore. Tomorrow I will post this same version in color. You can decide which you prefer.
