After capturing Bolted Times Three, I wanted to capture a single bolt with the grain of the wood. Something a little closer to bring out the weathered look of both the wood and bolt. Personally, I'm still fond of Bolted Times Three slightly more than this one. What are your thoughts?
This photo was part of a "macro lens" photo project I assigned to myself for the month of December (31 photos in all). I wanted to do something to spur some creativity, and get me to try something completely different that would get me out of my comfort zone. My mom also decided to partake in this assignment on her web site.
