Along the same fencing as the previous two rusted bolt photos, I spotted this metal plate which also had its fair share of time and weather. Looking at the differences in the bolts and the detail of the rust on the plate, inspired me to grab this shot this with a wide aperture to capture the details.
This photo was part of a "macro lens" photo project I assigned to myself for the month of December (31 photos in all). I wanted to do something to spur some creativity, and get me to try something completely different that would get me out of my comfort zone. My mom also decided to partake in this assignment on her web site.
