Congrats to Dani for guessing this. I wasn't sure if this was identifiable as a solar panel or not. Of course, I don't normally get this close to one to have really noticed what they looked like before. They have some interesting characteristics of them when shot up close and personal. I like the looks of all the metal flakes (I think that's what they are) inside of them.
This photo was part of a "macro lens" photo project I assigned to myself for the month of December (31 photos in all). I wanted to do something to spur some creativity, and get me to try something completely different that would get me out of my comfort zone. My mom also decided to partake in this assignment on her web site.
