Notes

I really liked the smoothness of this cactus, not to mention the photographic nature of the straight lines. It's not often you see a cactus that you can physically touch like this without getting your hand stuck full of barbs and stickers. This is yet another cactus I do not know the name of. If you do, please post a comment.

This photo was part of a "macro lens" photo project I assigned to myself for the month of December (31 photos in all). I wanted to do something to spur some creativity, and get me to try something completely different that would get me out of my comfort zone. My mom also decided to partake in this assignment on her web site.

Check out the "Mexican Fence Post" Cactus. I think that might be what this is.
