I've been driving past this sign for months now and every time I find myself gawking at it and thinking it would make a cool picture just from the contrast of the black and bright yellow background. The sign? It's actually in a McDonalds window advertising their 24 hour open policy. What are your thoughts?
This photo was part of a "macro lens" photo project I assigned to myself for the month of December (31 photos in all). I wanted to do something to spur some creativity, and get me to try something completely different that would get me out of my comfort zone. My mom also decided to partake in this assignment on her web site.

I thought it was a 24hr photo shop! :)
I am with you, nice contrast and makes for a very cool urban picture. Who would have thought beauty was everywhere, even at McDonalds???

Exactly! North Oracle rd McDonald's. Of course, it's simple for you, since you used to live in the area, Dani. :-)
