After wrapping up our scouting expedition, we headed back to our hotel until sunset. You don't have to drive very far to come upon a new scene that captures your eye. As evidenced by this photo, this was only a few miles down the road from the past couple of photos that I posted. I utilized my mom's Canon wide angle (10mm-20mm) lens. I'll tell you right now, even though this lens is an EF-S, I absolutely loved this lens for Monument Valley. As far as I can tell from Google maps, this is the opposite side of Sentinel Mesa.
