The final in the colored pencil series (for now). I say for now, because maybe some time down the road on a rainy day, I might want to revisit this series for one final shot and apply the lessons learned. More specifically, a larger aperture so the light tent material isn't in focus.
The material was still in focus in this photo, but a little cloning in Photoshop was able to clear up most of it. I like the composition the best in this photo than all the previous shots I took. Even though the shadows add a little interest in this shot, if/when I revisit this, I'd like to work on the lighting to see if I can eliminate the shadows. In any case, this is the whole reason I purchased a light tent. To experiment and learn. For $40 at Harbor Freights, the price was right and it's a simple, very portable and compact light tent.
It appears as if Harbor Freights has discontinued carrying this product (probably because it's hard to move photography products in a tool store). I did find it here on Amazon, if you're interested in an inexpensive light tent, complete with lights that have their own stands and a mini tripod (good for point/click cameras, but not good for heavy DSLR's with large lenses.).

This is my favorite photo out of the entire shoot.
