This is a hunters moon that even Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, would be proud of. If I just lost you, then I apologize. I recently finished reading Rick Riordan's series of "Percy Jackson and the Olympians". So, Greek Mythology is still heavily ingrained in my brain from this wonderful series. Still, the entire time I was out capturing the Hunters Moon in November, my mind kept thinking of how bright it was and how Artemis, the goddess of the hunt, would be able to see clearly while hunting. The full moon was extremely bright. Even before peaking over the Santa Catalina Mountains and Pusch Ridge in Oro Valley, it was lighting up the sky like a sunrise.
My sister captured the Hunter's Moon on the same evening as this one, but over Tucson. You can view her photo here.
