Any Tucsonan who likes mexican food has probably ate downtown at El Charro restaurant. It's been a favorite of mine for many years. If you've been to the downtown El Charro restaurant, you've probably seen the Toma Bar right next to it. El Charro owns it and as far as I can remember, they have had some wild colors on this building. Just a couple of weeks prior to taking this, there were painters out at the crack of dawn painting the bright colors you see here before you. Like most shots downtown, this scene proved a little difficult to shoot around the parking meters and the uneven ground. I'm coming to realize that there isn't a level sidewalk, road or building downtown. It makes it extremely difficult to get a read on a level surface when taking photographs.
