I couldn't resist sharing this three photo panorama stitch of Horeshoe Bend near Page, Arizona. I apologize to those with small monitors, but in this day and age, wide monitors seem to be the norm. Once again, the lack of sunset colors and clouds were a disappointment, however the vastness of this area was impressive, once these three photos were put together. What are your thoughts? Too big for your monitor or would you like to see more panoramas in the future? Leave a comment and let me know.

Too wide for my monitor, but beautiful nonetheless!

Great photo. Love the details and view that shows the vastness of the area.
Did you do take vertical shots and stitched them together OR did you take horizontal shots and stitched together ? Did you use any ND filter ? What time of the day was it? Along with 30D, which lens did you use and at what focal length?
I will be going there in a week and I have a 7D (crop sensor) and a 17-40L lens. I will have to take a panoramic to see the whole bend.
Thanks

Venky,
This was taken at sunset. These were not vertical photos, although I have done vertical photos and stitched them together. This particular photo was taken with my 17-85mm lens most likely.
Enjoy your trip up there. It's beautiful.
