This past Fourth of July, we had a good time visiting Kartchner Caverns State Park down near Sierra Vista and then spending the day in Tombstone. I had all my gear and contemplated staying for the fireworks show in Tombstone, but I wasn't sure if it would be all that great what with Tombstone being a small town and all, so we headed back to Tucson. We went to our usual place down the street from our house at El Conquistador resort. It's not a bad show, light on traffic after the show and very close to home.
