I bought my wife some roses for Mothers Day. The following morning, I set up shop and started taking macro photos, complete with the Canon extension tube. I know, I know. Close up shots of roses has been done to death already, but I haven't delved into it. I had always wanted to get some macro photos of roses and now I can cross this off my bucket list. For those that would expect to see a red and colorful rose and not black and white, I promise the next two weeks you will have it. I had to do at least one black and white, if nothing else, for the intricacies of the rose petals itself.
