This is a shot of a new window inside a very old, and very run down school. This is the original school house, or rather what's left of it, in the town of Lochiel, Arizona. This school turns 105 years old this year. Built in 1906, it served the community of Lochiel, Az up until it closed in 1972. The new windows are part of renovation project by a Patagonia restoration committee who are trying to save the school. As far as I know, the windows are the first of probably many new things to come from the restoration committee. Over the next few weeks, I will be releasing a few more photos of this old school house from the ghost town of Lochiel, Az.
