This cottonwood tree is right out front of the Lochiel school house in Lochiel, Arizona. I have no idea how old this tree is, but if they planted it at the same time the school was built, it would make it at one hundred and five years old. Standing below this tree, I don't believe one hundred and five years old would sound that far fetched. This tree is humongous and top of that, makes for an interesting photograph to boot. :-)
