This photo was actually just a test shot. I was getting ready to test out my new intervalometer and going to try my hand at capturing star trails. I bumped up the ISO to see if I had framed the shot correctly and to see if everything looked ok. Much to my surprise, the amount of stars that popped open in a just a few seconds amazed me. I chose to try this in Lochiel, Arizona, because it's far enough away from most of the city lights, making the stars show up easier. Next week, you'll get to see my first attempt at star trails.
