I shot of series of photos involving water on CD's. I like quite a few of them, however during the photo shoot, the sun was going down and I was losing color in the CD's. This particular one had lots of grays in it and very little color. Black and white was the obvious choice for me with this shot. I did, however, share a very similar color version of this in the miscellaneous gallery, for those that aren't into black and white photography.
