I was a week late in going out in my yard to capture the spring blossoms. When I finally did get out there, the photo opportunities were slim. The prickly pear blossoms had all died out. The hedgehog cactus have died (all of the cactus, not just the blooms). This shot was one of the few remaining blossoms of the Staghorn Cholla (Cylindropuntia versicolor) cactus that were still in bloom.
