I didn't think the super moon was going to be much different from any of the other times the moon was supposed to be closest to the earth. Therefore, I didn't plan on going out at all. I ended up burning a bunch of brush from my yard up until one in the morning. The entire time, I couldn't believe how bright the moon was. It was like it was almost day light out. At two in the morning, I got out all of my gear and took some shots. I could not believe how close the moon was in my lenses compared to all the other times I have shot the moon. I will never dismiss the super moon again. :-)

I mean, it's a pretty good moon. I don't know if it's "super."
