A week after taking the first set of star trails at the San Xavier Mission, I decided to go back. Especially after a few lessons that were learned such as time of night. After 11 pm is better for this location, as there is less traffic out. I also remembered to bring a spot light, so I can shine it on the mission and get a better focus. Unfortunately, the charger would have been nice to have. Who knew the spot light would die so quickly? A new and much more obvious item infiltrated this particular shot. A few airplanes or helicopters flew through my composition. I tried processing the star trails without the photos of these aircraft, unfortunately it took away from the star trails and left gaps in the trails. So, the airplanes have been left in the photo and another lesson has been learned. Get away from flight paths. Fortunately, the flight patterns in the photo are different and didn't quite kill the four hours spent taking photos. Live and learn.
