I'm always on the lookout for a good location to capture lightning photos. In this particular area, I headed away from Tucson so the city lights wouldn't be so bright and ended up in a small community called Saddlebrooke. In theory this is great to get away from the city lights, however, you never know where the storm will go. In this shot, the storm headed East of my location and went behind the mountains. I framed this shot with some Ocotillo cactus in the foreground. The downside is that I didn't consider how the Ocotillo would look in the shot from the wind. My bad. Next time I'll choose a stationary object for my foreground in stormy, low-light, conditions. #LiveAndLearn.
