The past few years, I had concentrated on capturing everything in my lightning attempts. The ground, objects, clouds and of course, lightning. This year, I wanted to capture just the lightning. If for nothing else, to see what it would look like. I wanted to get in close and just show the power and frightening element of these storms. I was a little worried that it might not turn out so great, if the viewer didn't have something to reference, or to ground them with the sky. In my opinion, I don't think it turned out too bad without showing the ground. What are your thoughts?
