Here's another shot of a close-up of the night sky. As the monsoon storm rolled in, I kept a close eye on the lightning. Composing the shot, aimlessly up in the sky, is pretty much what you have to do in a thunderstorm. You hope you get it right and capture the lightning bolts, but it can get pretty frustrating. You capture photo after photo, miss after miss, and as soon as you re-aim your camera where the lightning is happening, you miss your shot exactly where you were aiming previously. Patience (and umbrella's) are key to capturing lightning.
