This photo of a Northern Mockingbird is pretty different than the way I like to typical capture birds. Whenever photographing a bird, I tend to want to get it in full frame. I'm not sure if it's to capture all the glorious detail of each bird or if I just enjoy a close-up versus seeing it in its natural habitat. Either way, I this one caught my attention because of the simplicity of the mockingbird sitting on top of a century plant singing its morning songs, against a nice blue morning sky.
