This was one of several captures I managed to get at the Tubac Hot Air Balloon Festival in 2012. I hadn't heard of this even before 2012. It was pretty cool to see them bring the hot air balloons down and do a night burn. I'm sure it doesn't even compare to what they do in New Mexico, but it was fun. It was different to shoot these hot air balloons and I was a little frustrated with the wind, which kept shifting the balloons all over. At semi-long exposures, any movement quickly makes your subject blurry. Overall, it was a pretty cool event and one I might just revisit again this year.
