On our way home from Valley of Fire in Nevada, we stopped off at the Hoover Dam. You have to stop to really appreciate this engineering feat. Knowing that this massive dam was created during the Great Depression makes it all that more impressive. I captured this portrait shot to try to show the depth of this place. Next week I'll show off a typical landscape style photo of the Hoover Dam.
