La Placita village is a collection of 10 adobe, brick, and wood frame buildings in an office and restaurant complex built to resemble a Mexican marketplace. This is one area of downtown Tucson that holds a wide range of photo opportunities for photographers. This particular photo was taken about a half hour after sunrise. The good light was already starting to disappear. The only thing that saved this shot was all the shadows from the tall buildings in downtown Tucson. I would like to revisit this area during sunset to really capture the vivid colors of all of these buildings.
