While visiting Ajo, Arizona for a family event, they all spoke of the hospital that had been closed down for years and how it was haunted. We took a drive over there at night, and while it was creepy, we saw no ghosts outside. The next day, we found ourselves visiting the hospital again and as it turns out, someone stays there to make sure nobody vandalizes the place. The caretaker was kind enough to allow me in to take a few pictures of the place. Not knowing what year the hospital was built in, my mind kept telling me not to disturb anything for fear of asbestos. You should always listen to your inner voice of reason. This is probably my favorite photo out of the three that I've shared. It's the least dilapidated room and leads the imagination to peak into what the hospital may have been like when it was in operation.
