With each monsoon storm, sometimes you get a lot of lightning and other times, such as this, only a few bolts. This storm may not have had a lot of lightning to capture, but it did bring strong, gusty winds. If you pay attention to the city lights, you can easily see movement/blur of the lights. This was due to the high winds blowing my tripod and camera around. Even hanging my gear from the center pole wasn't enough to stabilize the camera. Still, the thickness of this lightning bolt over the Tucson mountains was enough for me to share this photo. I sometimes wonder if some these larger lightning bolts like the one you see here, might have enough electricity in them to disintegrate a person.
