Here is another capture of a monsoon storm as it visits Tucson and crosses over the Tortolita mountains from the North. There were enough lighting bolts to light up the sky and show the mountain silhouette. If I can capture lightning and one other subject in the frame, such as the mountains, it's usually a win. Provided everything is in focus of course and the lightning is interesting to view. Trying to change up this recipe is difficult, since you can't really get a lot of interesting subjects in your lightning photos at night. Over the next few weeks, stay tuned for some composition and location changes on my part, as well as some superb cooperation from mother nature.
