I can't say this enough, but I really, really look forward to Arizona's monsoon season each and every year. So deadly, yet so captivating. It's like a Fourth of July show, but replace the fireworks with deadly lightning all around you. I try to capture these from a safe distance, but you just never know where these might strike. I have felt static shocks when holding my tripod, even though the storms are well over a mile away. It's crazy, but such a great show to spectate. If only the winds would not move my tripod/camera around when I'm working.
