I captured this as the storm moved West across the Tortolita mountains in Tucson and headed towards Marana, AZ. This was like watching the 4th of July fireworks. Every 5 to 10 seconds, I was oohing and aahiiing over the light show. Due to the limitation of digital over film, this was several 60-second shots layered together. When it comes to night photography, I still miss the good old days of film where you can do everything on one single frame without worrying about sensor noise. Regardless, this was one hell of a light show I was able to witness.
