Capturing lightning during the daylight hours is pretty difficult. Especially without a lightning trigger. Even with a couple of dark filters, you still find yourself capturing a lot of photos, hoping to get some lightning bolts. Even then, you typically only manage to capture one, if you're lucky. This was captured looking West at the Tucson Mountains during the beginning of what turned out to be a spectacular sunset and storm. Since I was able to capture several great shots this evening, I will be posting several shots over the next week.
