I had initially taken this photo for the Red Photo Contest over at Phototakers. Once I had returned home however, I decided that this shot wasn't quite as good as my red window shot. Regardless of my decision not to submit this for my entry, I'm still pleased with this photo. This house is only a couple of streets behind (west) of El Charro cafe where I captured the red window photo. The unique colors on this house and the red door had me staring for the best composition for this shot for almost five minutes before actually capturing what you see before you.
