I took this on December 17th, 2004 right at 6 o'clock in the evening. If you're not familiar with Tucson, Gates Pass is on the west side of Tucson and is a common place for tourists and locals to see some spectacular sunsets. On this particular day, I was just a few minutes too late to catch the sunset, so I turned my attention back towards Tucson and waited for the sun to disappear. I didn't realize that they close the park at 6pm, so I had expected to get some more night photography of the city in than just a couple of shots. The car going from right to left in the picture is actually the police or park ranger vehicle coming in to shoo everyone out of the park so they could lock the gates.
