For our San Diego trip, I wasn't too concerned with taking artistic photos, as I knew we'd be visiting Sea World and Lego Land and there wouldn't be much time for the type of photography I like to do. I did, however, want to get at least one shot of a pelican. Little did I know how difficult it would be to accomplish this in one day. Out of all the shots I took from the beach on our last day, this was the only one that I semi liked. I accidentally shot this in jpg format instead of RAW. It's the price you pay when you're taking snapshots of the family vacation and trying to do what you like, all at the same time. I know I can do better than this and hopefully our next trip to San Diego will allow me to shoot more photography than family vacation snapshots.
