Birds weren't the only thing that caught my eye on my visit to Bosque Del Apache in New Mexico. This tall grass was around quite a few of the ponds at Bosque, but I didn't really take notice of it until I stopped to appreciate the quietness and awe of this vast wildlife refuge. Once I stopped to admire all the work that goes into maintaining this place, my eyes stopped focusing on just the birds and took notice of my surroundings.
