After this photo shoot out at the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum this past weekend, I've discovered that butterfly photography is almost as equally challenging as avian photography. Don't get me wrong, that's one of the reasons I like avian photography because of its difficulty. However, it does get a little frustrating trying to capture these little creatures in just the right pose, as they tend to close their wings right when you take the photo. Nonetheless, I did have a great time doing this and after all of my efforts, I was able to walk away with this keeper shot. I even enlarged this into a 20 x 30 in my office and everyone is just loving this shot and all of it's wonderful, vivid colors.

I can't help but steal a few glances at this enlarged photo in your office whenever I visit.
